We participated in OECD CDEP meetings and were reelected for the CSISAC Steering Committee
As a member of the Civil Society Information Society Advisory Council (CSISAC), which represents the voice of civil society in the CDEP (Committee on Digital Economy Policy) of the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development), ADC’s executive director, Valeria Milanes, took part in the committee’s different meetings last November in Paris, France. In such meetings, she presented CSISAC’s vision and position on issues such as protection of privacy and use of personal data; data portability and artificial intelligence.
Likewise, Ms. Milanes was invited to take part as an expert on the board of government representatives before OECD, on the subject of “responsible management and vulnerability disclosure”, where she could put forward ADC’s perspective on the matter. It should be pointed out that our organization, elected for CSISAC Steering Committee during the 2017-2019 term, has its mandate renewed for the period 2020-2021.
