Contribution made by ADC to the Principles on Identification for Sustainable Development

In response to the World Bank´s call for comments, we handed over a report referred to the Principles on Identification for Sustainable Development: Toward the Digital Age. The document stresses our concerns on the approach to privacy and personal data shown by the Principles, highlighting the need of a more emphatic language in preventing the development and introduction of identification systems from excessively limiting the exercise of fundamental rights.
