ADC participation in Mercosur 23rd Meeting of High-Level Authorities on Human Rights
ADC took part in the 23rd Meeting of High-Level Authorities on Human Rights of the Mercosur (RAADH), held between October 20 and November 6, in remote mode. Organized by the Pro Tempore Uruguayan Presidency, our attendance allowed us to present our endeavors in the domestic and international agendas of human rights and ICT within the different Permanent Committee meetings. We took part in the committees on Human Rights Communication; Lesbian, Gay, Trans, Bisexual, and Intersex People (LGTBI); Discrimination, Racism, and Xenophobia; People with Disabilities, Education and Culture in Human Rights; Older Adults and the Niñ@Sur Initiative. In each of these instances, we shared issues of importance that, in our opinion, and based on our track record and experience, should be considered and/or gradually addressed by the RADDH through their Permanent Boards. Finally, we presented the document “Contribution to the development of a Mercosur human rights agenda in digital matters” at the Plenary Session on November 6.
