Update of the #ConMiCaraNo campaign page

Face recognition for purposes of surveillance is growing in Argentina. Consequently, ADC has updated the contents of its microsite conmicarano.adc.org.ar, to draw up a “surveillance map”, including information on the latest developments and plans for further use of this technology. Given the implementation of facial recognition in different parts of the country, we consider it essential to undertake the task of accounting for all these occurrences, since the struggle for the defense of individual rights in the public arena is not restricted to one particular city.

This page will allow being informed of the dangers posed by using this technology for monitoring purposes, as well as to access other documents we have written concerning biometric, identification systems in Argentina and Latin America.
