ADC formulates its Code of Conduct and Inclusion and Diversity Policy
ADC has developed its own Code of Conduct (CC) and Inclusion and Diversity Policy (IDP), fundamental tools to guide the application of our institutional principles, values, norms and rules of behavior, seeking to prevent any type of discrimination. Both documents include a focus on gender, sexual diversity and disability issues.
The production stage took place from November 2020 to November 2021 with the assistance of IFEX and the expert collaboration of Cecilia Lopes and Karina Andriola as external consultants. The CC and the IDP are the results of a collaborative process comprising four stages: diagnosis, proposals, elaboration and awareness-raising.
These instruments allow for the adoption of a cross-sectional inclusion and diversity perspective, which integrates and complements the gender perspective as a cross-cutting axis of ADC’s work.
In this way, our organization raises its standards for prevention against all forms of discrimination from an innovative point of view, in line with today’s social demands.
