ADC contributes to volume 3 of latest RIPD Civil Society Forum comparative study
The Association for Civil Rights (ADC) participated in drafting the recently launched third volume of the Comparative Study between Data Protection Agencies. The document consists of two parts, one written in Spanish by Sulá Batsú and Ipandetec dealing with Costa Rica and Panama, while the other, focusing on Brazil, was prepared by InternetLab and written in Portuguese.
The report is a fundamental guide to understanding the work of the agencies within the region, pondering key aspects such as goals, legislation, and legal attributions.
Volume I of the study deals with Peru, Paraguay, and Colombia, was published last June and can be downloaded here. Volume II, released in July, involved the agencies in Argentina and Mexico and can be downloaded here.
