Cybersecurity in the mass surveillance age – Unveiling the cybersecurity agenda in Latin America: the Argentine case
This report is the final product of an investigation initiated in mid-2015, under which we have published a series of briefing papers focused on exploring different aspects of cybersecurity, with the ultimate aim of determining the existence and content of the cybersecurity agenda in Latin America, with special focus on the Argentine case, to determine its correspondence with human rights standards and, where appropriate, make suggestions or recommendations.
In this final report, we deepen on the results derived from the various published briefings, as well as we delve on the link between cybersecurity with the intelligence system and surveillance, which in recent years has expanded throughout Latin America.
