ADC launches PubliElectoral in Mexico
Together with Article 19 Office for Mexico and Central America, ADC launched PubliElectoral, a technological tool of social interest that scrutinized political ads posted in view of Mexico´s upcoming elections on June 6, for subsequent analysis. In its first phase, PubliElectoral could be downloaded as an app for mobile devices or as a browser extension.
The campaign for downloading the tool began on April 19 and ended on May 10, followed by the second stage of examination of the data collected. “After analyzing campaigns in Argentina and Chile, we are proud to extend the PubliElectoral regional project to Mexico, hand in hand with a prestigious organization such as Article 19”, said Natalia Zuazo, ADC senior researcher, and PubliElectoral regional coordinator. “This organization´s experience in transparency, freedom of expression and human rights in the digital sphere makes it an ideal partner for this shared action”.
